Do I have to pay any monthly fees to use the XLink BT? No, you do not have to pay any monthly fees to use the XLink BT, but you will still have to pay your regular cell phone fees.


Can I access my cell phone voicemail through my landline? Yes, you can access your voicemail through your landline phone. Go off hook, press ’1′ then ‘#’ on a phone that is connected to your XLink device.

If this does not work you need to program your voicemail number into the XLink. Then you can access your voicemail from any phone in the house.

For each cell phone that is paired to XLink you can store one voicemail number.


Can I choose which cell phone to use when making a call? Yes, each cell phone has its own line number from 1 to 3. Press the line number you want to use and then the FLASH button on your regular phone. The blue buttons on top of the XLink correspond to the line number.

If your hear a series of rapid tones, there is no cell phone connected to that line. Try another line that has a cell phone paired to it. If you hear a dial tone it means it is connected and you can make your phone call.


Can I use a cordless phone with my XLink? Yes, you can use a cordless phone with XLink.


How many cell phones can I connect to XLink? You can connect up to three bluetooth enabled cell phones to XLink. A blue light will flash to indicate which line is ringing.


Can I use XLink if I still have a landline? Yes, you can use XLink with a landline. Use the XLink as line 2, or plug a multi handset cordless phone into XLink.


If I want to use a phone with both my cell phone and a landline, does it have to be a 2-line phone? No, the XLink does not require a 2-line phone.


Will my outbound calls go through the landline or cell phone? If the XLink is connected, by default it will dial out on the landline. If there is no landline connected to the XLink, it will dial out on the cell phone it is paired with.


Do I need a landline in order to use XLink? No, XLink uses your cell phone service. You do not need a landline.


Why does my Bluetooth keep disconnecting? Something may be causing interference in the 2.4 GHz radio band that Bluetooth uses. This can be telephones, wireless security cameras or any other wireless device that operate on the same frequency as Bluetooth.

To fix the problem, turn off the other devices or get more distance between the Xlink and conflicting devices.


Why does a red light come on when I set up XLink? If the red light comes on it means the XLink is plugged into an active landline. Unplug the XLink from all active phone jacks. Do not use wires that are used by your telephone company.

The best way to use XLink is to plug it directly into a an corded or cordless phone and not use any house wiring. A multi handset cordless phone is ideal.

If you want to use house wiring, be sure to disconnect and active landlines.


If I pair more than one cell phone with the XLink, which is the primary line? Line one is the primary line. The blue buttons on top of the XLink correspond to the cell phone line number. The dots indicate which is line 1, 2, or 3.

It is a good idea to pair the cell phone you use most to line 1, because by default the XLink will use the lowest line number as the primary line.


Will my cell phone ring through all my landline phones, or just the one that the XLink is attached to? You can set up the XLink to do either.
